In 2013, The King County Library System embarked on a cost-effective remodel of the library interior. In order to meet budget, existing furniture had to be repurposed and reupholstered, and existing glass countertops were repurposed into tables and workstations.
The remodel included the addition of colorful wayfinding signage as well as flooring.
