RCD provided full interior design services for The Martin, a 24 –story, 190-unit luxury apartment tower located next to the iconic Cinerama Theater in downtown Seattle.
The interior finishes are a melding of “Mid-Century Modern meets old Hollywood Glam”, with inspiration from the adjacent Cinerama theater and the golden age of film. Finishes include walnut veneer, porcelain tile, quartz countertops and colored glass backsplashes.
The Martin includes special details such as textured wall coverings, European lighting and original, site-specific artwork and custom furniture. The end result is a luxuriously modern interior, which evokes the look and feel of an upscale boutique hotel. A myriad of onsite amenities include a rooftop “Sunset Lounge”, a fitness center, business center, an expansive rooftop deck, a plush media room and even a retro-modern dog wash/dog walk area.
The Martin is targeting LEED Gold.
